Hand carved from light weight albizia wood, also known as ‘Peacocks Plume’, one of the fastest growing trees on earth. Carefully covered with white gesso plaster and finished with a non-toxic water based paint. This finish has an antique chalky appearance with some yellow patina caused by the natural wood base and it is not a uniform bright white. It is also a suitable base for further painting.

Each word is carved from one piece of wood. The smaller the object the harder it is to carve so only the most skilled wood carvers can make these. Each word comes in a handmade presentation box made from unbleached cotton.
