Hand carved from light weight albizia wood, also known as ‘Peacocks Plume’, one of the fastest growing trees on earth. Carefully covered with white gesso plaster and finished with a non-toxic water based paint. This finish has an antique chalky appearance with some yellow patina caused by the natural wood base and it is not a uniform bright white. It is also a suitable base for further painting.
